U need a new one but there not cheap £100+ zipstar July 2010 Annoyed me quite a lot its derestricted 2 stroke was doing around 40mph on half throttle, usually does 50-55mph on full throttle, gradually went up to max but then it chokes itself:/ Now up my road Im working the centrifugal clutch like hell doing 10mph, downhill I can still get to fourty on half throttle, but whenever I take it to full throttle it sounds like a stalling car. Has been working fine then suddenly these issues.
Also the varitor and i belive the clutch were replaced about 1500 miles ago. The bike has a new correct model spark plug and air filter ive also cleaned the carb. When im driving it judderz and will cut out when i try and accelerate, it seems like the engine is flooding. I've taken the carb off cleaned the jets, all the surrounding areas, all inlets, changed the rollers, varitaor, i've even changed the spark plug twice, i also took off the carb and sprayed carb cleaner directly into the engine, the engine started but was still juddering, there is no loss of power or any cutting out, could anyone help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz fozz August 2007 Hi I got a zip an it won't start tried put petrol in the cylinder an it still won't start it kind of start but dies again got an new spark plug an sparks blue what next Jacob November 2012 hi i have a 2001 piaggio zip 125cc.
Hiya there my zip 51 plate starts up on the button, however when you try to rev the bike it ill rev up but judder through the revs, as though the engine is maxin out then droppin revs and maxin out again, it will gather speed but the engine will continue juddering as it does so.
